The participation of Nigerian actor Kanayo O. Kanayo in the Gwo Gwo Ngwo dance challenge has caused quite a buzz.
The Gwo Gwo Ngwo challenge, initiated by skit maker Brainjotter, has gained momentum across Nigeria. However, the original singer of the song, over 90-year-old Mike Ejeagha, has expressed disappointment over the misappropriation of his song.
Kanayo O. Kanayo shared a video of his own rendition of the dance challenge on Instagram.
The veteran actor posted a video featuring himself and two other content creators doing a dance routine that quickly gained popularity. He was dressed in a traditional white outfit with a red cap.
In the video, KOK can be seen engaging in a playful argument with one of the dancers before stepping aside to perform a dance move.
The actor appeared elated as he attempted to imitate the distinct moves of the dance challenge, smiling widely as he lifted each leg.
