Brazilian football star Kaka claims that Ronaldo Nazario, the South American country’s football legend, is treated disrespectfully by his compatriots, who regard him as a “fat man.”
After helping Brazil win the World Cup in 1994 and 2002, Ronaldo established himself as an iconic striker. He also had successful stints at Barcelona, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid.
Kaka claims that Brazilians regard Ronaldo as a “fat man walking down the street.”
However, after gaining weight at the end of his football career, many members of the media and fans mocked him for his change in shape over the years.
Criticizing the treatment the Brazilian team and Neymar are receiving in his country and also the way idols like Ronaldo are treated during an interview with BeIN Sport, Kaka said;
Kaka claims Brazilians treat Ronaldo like ‘a fat man walking down the street’
“It’s strange to say this, but many Brazilians don’t support Brazil. It happens sometimes. If you see Ronaldo walking around here, you’ll be like: ‘Wow’, he has something different here. In Brazil, he’s just a fat man walking down the street. Of course, many Brazilians love Ronaldo, I love Ronaldo, but the way he is respected in Brazil and abroad is different, I see more respect for him outside the country than there.”
