K1 De Ultimate, a musician from Fuji, has finished a seven-day traditional process to honor a new chieftaincy title that was given to him in his hometown of Ijebu-Ode.
He was observed leaving his Ojushagbola family home with his wife, Emmanuella Ropo, while wearing white regalia and leopard skin ornaments.
K1 was kindly bestowed the title “Olori Omo Oba Akile Ijebu” by HRM Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Ogbagba Agbotewole II, the Awujale of Ijebu Land.
The title, which was formerly held by the late Balogun, represented the Ijebu people’s courage and dignity.
The achievement of this renowned title by KWAM 1 is a reflection of his outstanding contributions to the improvement of Ijebuland’s reputation and, consequently, that of Yorubaland as a whole.
He already held the title of Mayegun of Yorubaland prior to receiving this most recent honor, which further cemented his position as a revered leader in the Yoruba community.
