Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber has achieved a string of historic milestones on the US Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200, according to NAIJALOG.
Following the birth of his son a few months ago, Bieber dropped his seventh studio album, Swag — a tribute to fatherhood — featuring cover art with his wife Hailey and their child, Jack Blues.
The album made a strong debut, landing 16 tracks on the Billboard Hot 100, with lead single ‘Daisies’ opening at No. 2.
This impressive feat pushed Bieber past Chris Brown, making him the male artist with the most entries on the Hot 100 — 121 songs total.
‘Daisies’ also marks his 27th Top 10 hit, tying him with Janet Jackson as the 10th artist with the most Top 10 hits in Hot 100 history.
Additionally, Bieber became the first artist ever to simultaneously debut at No. 2 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200.
Swag entered at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while Daisies mirrored the same position on the Hot 100.
In a related chart milestone, Teddy Swims’ hit single ‘Lose Control’ has made history as the first song to spend 100 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.
The track, which previously hit No. 1, remains firmly in the Top 10.
