Justin Bieber just got sued by a photographer claiming Justin’s bodyguard locked him in a Subway restaurant and later injured him.
The photographer, Manuel Munoz claims he was taking pics of Justin as he was leaving SET Nightclub in Miami Beach in January.
Munoz told TMZ that Justin’s bodyguard was not happy about the photos and chased him all the way to a nearby Subway. Munoz adds that the bodyguard locked the restaurant door and attacked him in the bathroom, demanding that he delete the photos.
Munoz also says that the bodyguard tried to remove the memory card and then kicked and punched him. He says the camera was completely damaged. He eventually got the memory card.
Now, there are contradictory accounts by the same guy. In the official police report, Munoz never says he was punched or kicked. It says the bodyguard tripped him, causing him to sustain a “small scratch in his left knee.”
The police report also clearly states that the two struggled in the restroom. Munoz told the bodyguard that he would give Bieber the pictures for $10K but the bodyguard negotiated for $5K.
Munoz is now suing Bieber and bodyguard Dwayne Patterson for unspecified damages.
Bieber’s attorney, Howard Weitzman told TMZ, “This new lawsuit filed by a paparazzo is yet another shakedown for money. The paparazzo admits that Justin was not present at the alleged ‘assault.’ The paparazzo told the police he had only scratched his knee when he was allegedly tripped, but now claims he was beat up. There are no damages.”
