Former Special Adviser on New Media to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has reacted to the decision of South East governors to proscribe the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
The Governors took the decision to outlaw the pro-Biafra group yesterday at a meeting held at Enugu Government House.
In his reaction, Omokri faulted the decision, wondering why governors who could not ban killer herdsmen could have the “guts to ban IPOB in the South East.”
In a Facebook post, the former presidential aide urged Igbo leaders to speak the truth even if their “voice is shaking.”
He wrote: “South East governors that do not have the guts to ban killer herdsmen in their region, have guts to ban IPOB in the South East!
“That is just like leaving the lion that is killing your children to go after the ant that is affecting your sugar.
“My advise to Igbo leaders is this, speak the truth even if your voice shakes.”
This is coming at a time when the Nigerian Army also declared IPOB and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu as terrorists.
