President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointment of a former Chief Justice of the federation, Hon. Justice Idris Kutigi and Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi as chairman and Vice Chairman of the National Conference respectively.
Chief Anyim Pius anyim, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, in a statement, in Abuja, Monday, also announced former Minister of Foreign Affairs, that Dr. Valerie Azinge is to serve as secretary of the conference and therefore in charge of the secretariat.
The appointees are to resume at Abuja on tomorrow, in Abuja, where the SGF would brief them on modalities of the conference.
A total of 492 nominees will participate in the conference, which is to be held in the Federal Capital Territory.
