Nollywood veteran actress, Joke Silva, has been named as the chairman, of the creative and entertainment industry committee of the Tinubu/Shettima women’s campaign team for the 2023 general election.
Other members of the committee include Mercy Johnson, Rahama Sadau,Toyin Adegbola, Esther Wright, Rose Odika, Hadiza Kabara, Fathia Balogun, and Sola Kosoko.
In a statement on Saturday, Rinsola Abiola, daughter of MKO Abiola and member of the team’s media and administrative committee, said Aisha Buhari, the first lady, will lead the campaign team as its grand patron while Oluremi Tinubu, the senator representing Lagos central and wife of the party’s flag bearer, as well as Nana Shettima, wife of the APC vice-presidential candidate, will serve as chairman and co-chairman respectively.
