No fewer than 14 persons and domestic animals have been lost in fire out breaks and flood disaster that ravage some parts of Jigawa state.
The Executive Secretary of the Jigawa State Emergency Relief Agency, Alhaji Yusif Sani Babura disclosed this in an interview with reporters at the state capital in Dutse.
Babura explained that “10 people died in the fire disaster while flood killed four people and many others sustained injuries during the disaster”.
He added that Governor Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar has approved the release of substantial amount to the relations of the decease and victims of the disasters to relieve the pains.
