Nollywood actor and director Charles Inojie has claimed that a group of actresses has infiltrated the industry with bad intentions.
He asserts that an army of daughters of Jezebel have entered the Nigerian film industry. He claimed that their objective is to get movie producers and directors to grant them roles in exchange for sex.
On the most recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, which Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, aka Nedu, co-hosted, the renowned director was interviewed.
He asserts that some women in Nollywood also engage in sex-for-role behavior, flinging themselves at filmmakers in an effort to land movie roles.
Some actors and actresses will do everything to be in front of the camera. And he will tumble when you encounter a character who is not developed enough, like the director or producer. Actresses like that do exist. S3x-for-role is a problem that goes both ways. It works both ways.
“There is also a horde of Jezebel daughters hunting out producers and directors to slay… So, another concern is the degree of desperation displayed by some of these girls.
They are therefore easily fooled by the booby traps that many producers and filmmakers have placed with poorly developed characters and individuals with dubious histories.
