Wife of Leicester star, Jamie Vardy, Rebekah appears to have confirmed the striker’s transfer to Arsenal, after taking to Twitter to shock club fans trolling her over the move, insisting she has no control over her husband’s footballing future.
She fumed: “Listen LCFC fans don’t come at me with abuse! I have nothing whatsoever to do with calling the shots in my husband’s career! It’s unfair.”
Reports in the UK on Saturday say that the England forward is reportedly set to sign a £120k-a-week contract with the Gunners in the next 24 hours, after his £20million release clause was triggered earlier this week.
Vardy scored 24 goals last season to spearhead Leicester’s unbelievable Premier League title triumph.
And despite being awarded a new £80k-a-week deal at the Foxes, the pacey forward looks to be edging nearer a King Power Stadium exit.
And mum-of-three, Rebekah hit out at more trolls commenting on her own status as a Wag.
