The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the release of results for candidates who took part in the rescheduled 2025 UTME.
The announcement was made via the board’s official X account (@JAMBHQ), where it also provided instructions for checking the results. According to the post, candidates are to send “UTMERESULT” (in uppercase) to either 55019 or 66019, using the same phone number they used to obtain their profile code during registration.
An accompanying document titled “Release of the Result of the 2025 UTME Resit Examination and Other Related Matters” provided more insight, explaining that the released results pertain to candidates who sat for the exam at centres previously affected by disruptions.
The statement also exposed disturbing findings of exam misconduct involving some candidates, school owners, and CBT centres—factors that had previously compromised the integrity of the exams.
Since the release, several candidates have confirmed accessing their updated scores. One individual shared a candidate’s result online, highlighting a correction: “This student was initially scored 170 due to an error but now has 301 after just 48 hours of revision. Finally, justice has been served.”
