Jada Pinkett Smith, an actress, recently spoke about her bond with the late rapper Tupac Shakur, calling him her soulmate even though he passed away 30 years ago. This happened during an interview with Christal Jordan of RollingOut on Thursday, October 12, before the release of her memoir.
Jada admitted that she and Tupac didn’t have chemistry and denied his proposal despite being married to Will Smith for 19 years. In response to Jordan’s question, Jada said that she believes “soulmate friendships” are possible without romantic love. She added that “soulmate” can be defined in different ways and that our children can also be our soulmates.
Jada also suggested that if there is such a thing as past lives, she and Tupac might have shared some together. She explained that despite being put together by God, they couldn’t get together because it wasn’t meant to be.
