Iyabo Ojo has responded to claims made by anonymous blog Gistlover concerning one of her goddaughters, Fola Tinubu.
The blogger alleged that Fola Tinubu was using kayamata to attract men and further claimed that Iyabo Ojo supplied her with the substance. The post also mentioned several celebrities and prominent men Tinubu was allegedly linked to.
In a detailed reaction shared online, Iyabo Ojo dismissed the accusations. She stated that her goddaughter is an adult capable of making her own decisions and clarified that she does not interfere in or monitor her romantic life. According to the actress, she is unaware of who Tinubu may be dating and does not engage in conversations about her relationships.
Ojo also firmly denied ever using kayamata or giving it to anyone, stressing that she cannot offer what she does not possess.
Addressing her relationship with Fola Tinubu, the actress explained that her support is limited to encouraging her goddaughter’s business growth and celebrating her success. Popularly known as the “Queen Mother,” she added that if any of the allegations were proven true, she would take responsibility. However, if they were unfounded, she sent the negative remarks back to the blogger and those spreading the rumours.
