Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo has expressed her disapproval of 2Face’s recent announcement regarding his divorce, describing it as poorly timed and lacking empathy.
Taking to her Instagram story, Iyabo criticized the timing of the singer’s revelation, stating that it only added to the emotional distress of Annie Idibia, the mother of his children, who is currently in a vulnerable state.
She wrote, “2Baba, I have great respect for you both, but the timing of this announcement was wrong. Adding to the pain of the mother of your kids, who’s already going through so much, shows a lack of empathy. I’m truly disappointed.
I pray you both find the strength to put your children’s well-being first. Annie, this storm will eventually pass.”
The couple has been at the center of public attention following 2Face’s announcement of his separation and divorce from Annie Idibia, which he shared on Sunday.
