Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has made new claims in her ongoing clash with controversial critic Verydarkman, alleging that her son, Festus Ojo, unknowingly consumed a drug-laced drink during a visit to Naira Marley’s house.
Speaking during a TikTok live session, Iyabo revealed that actor Jigan Baba Oja had personally informed her about the incident. The revelation adds another layer to the ongoing group chat controversy and the unresolved dispute regarding a supposed apology to Naira Marley and Sam Larry.
“Jigan, forgive me for saying this, but you called me and told me that Festus drank something spiked with drugs at Naira Marley’s place. You said you had to rush him to the toilet to throw up, and then warned him never to go back there,” Iyabo recounted.
She admitted that this incident deeply upset her. Her anger escalated further after seeing a video of Verydarkman calling her a “failed actress.” In response, she released a controversial video mocking his mother—a move that drew heavy criticism online.
“I was already furious, and then I saw that video where he called me a failed actress. That’s when I reacted by insulting his mother. My children later reached out and told me I shouldn’t have responded,” she added.
