Famous actress in Nollywood, Eniola Ajao, has been caught in a leaked voice note apologizing to Portable, a controversial singer. She admitted that giving Bobrisky the ‘Best Dressed Female’ award at the premiere of her movie was a deliberate attempt to promote the film. The award had caused a lot of controversy, with many questioning how Bobrisky could win such an award.
In a conversation with Portable, Eniola Ajao confirmed that she intentionally gave the award to Bobrisky to draw attention to her new movie. She admitted that she never anticipated the backlash and that she did it out of desperation, as she had already invested a significant amount of money in her new film.
Eniola Ajao was almost in tears as she pleaded with the public to forgive her for her error.
“I am so sorry; the deed has been done. It was not a mistake because I am not a child. It was an intentional act; I have spent over N200M on the film. I know everybody is upset, it was because I just wanted people to talk about the movie because I was not getting help anywhere. The help I didn’t get was why I did it. I didn’t know it would escalate to this point,” she said in part.
