Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, has told his supporters that mentioning the name of famous Nollywood actress Funke Akindele in his presence is insulting.
This was stated by the politician during a political outing on Wednesday, November 2, while addressing his throngs of supporters who serenaded him with campaign songs.
It should be noted that Funke is running for deputy governor under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In comparison to the incumbent governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Bola Tinubu described the actress as a political “ant.”
In his words:
“Who is Funke Akindele before Sanwo-Olu of Lagos? She is an ant.
“Don’t even bother to mention her name in my presence. It is an insult. It is disrespectful.”
