Terrorist Group ISIL announced they have captured the Iraqis heet town in the Anbar province,a claim the Iraq’s sunni militia quickly denied,saying the battle is still ongoing.
The AFP reported a major fight ensuing yesterday has Pro government sunni militia fighters rallied to stop the Islamic State from taking over Heet.
Mayor of “Heet” while speaking to Imam Khan Aljazeera correspondent said the ISIl had been dealt an utter blow, suffering a setback “ISIL does control huge chunks of An bar province,…. but we are seeing a renewed push by the army and their sunni militia groups he said”.
The fight which came in the wake of the airstrike on ISIL by the US and French government was expectedly followed up by the Sunni Militia’s deployment in a bid to secure the area.
