The convoy of Apostle Johnson Suleman was ambushed on Friday evening.
Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) International’s Senior Pastor and General Overseer is the cleric.
According to DAILY POST, gunmen ambushed his motorcade on Warake road in Auchi, Edo State.
Four police officers, one driver, and a woman have been confirmed dead.
The internet is awash with gory videos of the attack and bodies.
“Apostle Johnson Suleman just got off the phone with me now,” tweeted @iamoodickson.
This afternoon, he escaped the Assassins. Unfortunately, all seven of his members were gunned down.”
The incident occurred only six weeks after Anambra Senator Andy Ubah’s convoy was attacked.
Some of the security guards and two aides who were guarding him were killed by bullets.
