According to a TikTok video, a Nigerian lady is still collecting old Naira notes from her customers.
The lady sang joyfully as she sold many of her goods in the video posted by @mum jamjam.
Many customers, she claimed, were coming to buy from her because she was still collecting old notes.
Her shop counter had many gaps in the TikTok video, indicating that she made a lot of sales during the naira exchange crisis.
TikTok users in Nigeria have reacted to her video. Some people inquired about her location and the bank to which she planned to deposit the funds. Others expressed skepticism about her claims.
Her video will be released just days after the CBN’s deadline for the use of old naira notes expired on February 10.
