“I’m a Nigerian from Ewe in Oyo Kingdom” – Ghanaian singer Stonebwoy says

Stonebwoy, the Ghanaian Afro Pop and Dancehall artist whose real name is Livingstone Etse Satekla, revealed that he has Nigerian ancestry. In a recent conversation with the well-known Nigerian influencer Ola Of Lagos, Stonebwoy shared that he identifies as Nigerian, specifying that his Ewe tribe originates from the Oyo Kingdom. He explained that his ancestors migrated from the southern part of Nigeria before eventually settling in Ghana, providing a connection to his roots in Nigeria, particularly in the Oyo Kingdom.

In his Words”

“Me sef nah Niger, no lies. Me nah Ewe from Oyo Kingdom, my tribe migrated from Nigeria to Ghana here, na we get Illesha. Shout-out to my people in the southern part of Nigeria, check Ewe, we root straight to Yoruba”, Stonebwoy said.
