Femi Adesina, President Muhammadu Buhari’s media adviser, has expressed confidence that an Igbo presidency will be achieved in Nigeria.
Adesina recalled writing in support of an Igbo presidency on Wednesday at the State House.
The aide made the remark while meeting with a delegation from Igbo Friends and the Onyebuchi Chris Ifediora (OCI) Foundation.
The delegation congratulated him on being named an Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) by the President of Niger.
Adesina stated that he was always delighted to welcome visitors from all over the country.
“It demonstrates our brotherhood; Nigeria is one country, indivisible.” You’ve shown it by coming to congratulate me.”
According to the spokesperson, he holds two chieftaincy titles from two different states: Nwanne di Namba from Mmaku in Enugu and Ugomba of Isieketa in Abia.
“At the Sun Newspapers, I used to write about the Southeast and the need for an Igbo-speaking president, as well as what the people of the region needed to do to achieve it.”
“I know it would be a reality in this country,” said the President’s image-maker.
