Nollywood actor and producer Kevin Ikeduba has spoken out against the exploitation of actors within the film industry. In a recent interview on Hip TV’s “Trending,” Ikeduba firmly stated that he would “rather die” than cast unqualified actors in exchange for sexual favors.
Expressing his frustration with the unprofessionalism prevalent in the industry, Ikeduba emphasized the importance of integrity and quality in filmmaking. He stated, “The movie industry is very big. What works for A, may not work for B.”
Ikeduba stressed his commitment to maintaining ethical standards, noting that his passion for filmmaking drives him to avoid any form of compromise. He added, “Kevin, as people know me, would rather die than offer a girl a role for sex. It hurts me to meet mediocre people on set, and I will never engage in such practices.”
