The premiere, held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, attracted several top names in the film industry, including Rita Dominic, Femi Adebayo, Muyiwa Ademola, alongside others.
However, the glamorous night appeared to spark fresh tension between Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele. A viral clip captured the moment Toyin approached Funke’s table twice to greet her, but Funke did not acknowledge her.
The incident quickly stirred reactions online, dividing fans. While some supported Funke’s stance, citing past disagreements such as differing views linked to comments by Kunle Afolayan, others sympathised with Toyin.
The situation escalated further on social media shortly after the event. Toyin reportedly unfollowed Funke on Instagram and, in a now-deleted post, declared she would no longer greet her. Funke, although silent publicly, also unfollowed Toyin, intensifying the ongoing tension between the two actresses.
