Afrobeat sensation, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has announced a hiatus from live performances citing health concerns. Despite delivering a captivating show at the O2 Arena on November 14th, where he dazzled a sold-out crowd with a grand entrance and vibrant performance, Rema shared a poignant message expressing his decision to step back from stage appearances for the rest of December. The artist acknowledged neglecting his well-being amid years of constant touring and plans to take a break to focus on recovery until 2024.
In his words: “Breaks my heart to say that I won’t be performing Anywhere this December, been years of touring I’ve ignored my health & I need time to recuperate. 2024 we go again.❤️”
