Days after Yul Edochie claimed that all is well between him and his first wife, May, she goes public with her views on polygamy.
In a new Instagram post she shared today, May stated that she won’t be numbered as a wife or be cajoled to accept a practice that does not align with her faith and family values.
Also responding to Yul’s claim of them still living together in the same house, May disclosed that they jointly built their Lagos mansion and she had a stable and loving home before the unprecedented events regarding her marriage.
The mother of four further stated that the ability to accept or tolerate challenges and problems in life is a virtue, and should not be misconstrued.
May also averred that while polygamy is a life choice that one should not be compelled to accept, there is no point in making an already bad situation worse, which is why there is a need to remain calm.
She added that people are responsible for their actions and should accept the consequences of every deed, word, and thought that comes with it in our lifetime.
May wrote;
“The ability to accept or tolerate challenges and problems in life is a virtue, and should not be misconstrued. There is no point making an already bad situation worse, hence the need to remain calm is crucial.
“I understand that we all have our weaknesses and limitations as humans, and I personally believe everyone deserves an opportunity to make things right when they stray… Forgiveness is devine.
