Annie Idibia, a well-known Nollywood actress, has revealed how she was labeled a “disgrace to womanhood” following her marital scandal.
Annie Idibia and her husband 2Face are now in the headlines after the actress’s husband recently revealed in a debate that males are programmed to cheat.
When asked how her marital controversy affected her personally, Annie Idibia revealed that the public emotionally assaulted and insulted her, branding her a disgrace to femininity.
Annie stated on the second season of the Young, Famous, and African reality program that the issues around her gained notoriety because people were continually hearing negative news about her and her spouse.
She said,
“People want to believe the bad story, they want to believe the worst. They think it’s Annie they are bashing, they think it’s Innocent.“They come and they tell me, ‘you are a disgrace to women.’ People…People are heartless.”
