Nollywood artist Rita Dominic has shared information about how a group of influential marketers prevented her from working in the movie industry. In an interview aired on Joy997fm’s official Instagram page, she explained that these marketers were viewed as mini-gods in the Nollywood movie industry and had banned her from working. She further added that before she started producing and forming her own company, she was quietly blacklisted. According to her statement, the reason for her ban was because she was trying to do things differently from the norm, and she felt that there came a point where it was better to speak to an actor’s management if you wanted to acquire their services.
