Emerging singer Lil Frosh revisits accusations of assault made by his former girlfriend, Gift Camille, also known as Cute Gemini, maintaining that she deliberately plotted against him to damage his career.
Approximately two years ago, Lil Frosh faced allegations of assault from his ex-girlfriend, leading to his expulsion from DMW Records.
In a recent Instagram post, the singer, who has been relatively forgotten, asserts his innocence amidst a trending discussion about allegations that Gift framed and incarcerated a TikToker.
According to Lil Frosh, the discord in their relationship stemmed from Gift’s disrespect toward his mother, which prompted him to slap her. He admits to apologizing for his actions and promising not to repeat them.
However, he claims that five months later, Gift had an allergic reaction, which he was unaware of until she used the swelling from the reaction to accuse him of abuse.
He appeals to Nigerians and Davido for a second chance to demonstrate his value, highlighting the decline of his career and the negative comments circulating about him on social media.
In his words, partly;
“I thank God for the opportunity that just presented itself,God knows I did not beat Gemini. I was framed I was blackmailed, and after all I paid. I still can’t get my career back because of the lies that was told against me. Nobody gave me listening ears, I tried to explain to my BOSS @davido but he didn’t want to listen because he has zero tolerance for hitting women. Please guys help me I am innocent, help me beg Davido to give me a chance again, Nigerians God bare me witness I am innocent.”
