Nigerian skit maker and streamer Carter Efe has opened up about a disappointing encounter he had with Grammy-winning superstar Burna Boy during a recent public appearance.
The Stare Down
Narrating the incident during a live session with his fans, the content creator claimed that he spotted the Afro fusion icon and believed the singer had recognized him as well.
He said:
“Do you know I saw Burna Boy yesterday? I saw Burna Boy yesterday and he kept staring at me,”
Blocked by Bouncers
Encouraged by what he thought was eye contact, Carter Efe attempted to walk over and pay his respects. However, his excitement was cut short when the singer’s security detail aggressively intervened to stop him.
He lamented:
“But his bouncers bounced me when I tried to approach him,”
Tight Security
The skit maker acknowledged that the level of protection around the “Last Last” crooner made access virtually impossible.
He noted:
“Their security is too tight,”
Emotional Aftermath
Visibly affected by the rejection, Carter Efe admitted that the experience left him feeling humiliated and hurt.
He concluded:
“Ah God, I felt bad,”
