Nigerian singer Crown Uzama, widely known as Shallipopi, has revealed that he doesn’t smoke, despite frequently appearing with cigarettes in his photos and videos.
In a recent interview with Soundcity, the ‘Oba Pluto’ hitmaker explained that the cigarettes are purely for aesthetic purposes.
“One thing my fans don’t know about me is that I don’t smoke. It’s just for aesthetics,” he shared.
Speaking about his motivation for pursuing music, Shallipopi credited hardship as his driving force. He added, “What inspires me to make music is hardship. You don’t want to experience hardship in this country.”
