Sen. Ned Nwoko (PDP-Delta) has refuted claims circulating that he passed away in Switzerland.
Nwoko, who represents the Delta North Senatorial District, issued a statement on Friday in Abuja, labeling the reports as completely false and malicious.
“In recent weeks, I have also been the target of baseless insults and accusations related to the purchase of a car for a young content creator.
“These allegations are unfounded and deceptive. Whether this is a misguided prank or an intentional act of malice, it has crossed the line and will not be tolerated.
“I am taking immediate legal action against those responsible for spreading these lies. Arrests will be made, and anyone involved should be ready to face the consequences.
“This isn’t about wielding influence; it’s about ensuring accountability for those responsible for these damaging actions.
I will not accept any attempts to tarnish my reputation or downplay the seriousness of this situation.
“If you are involved in these activities, prepare to face legal consequences without delay,” Nwoko warned.
