In a video that’s going viral, Lege Miami (real name Adams Kehinde) opened up about why his scene was removed from a special documentary made in honour of Seyi Tinubu’s 40th birthday.
Lege, who says he considers himself a close friend of Seyi, claimed the cut was due to his struggle with English. He insisted that the president’s son wasn’t at fault and that the real reason was his own inability to articulate well in English.
He said:
“I am responsible for this situation — because I can’t speak good English. If I had spoken well, Seyi would have made sure my segment stayed.”
He added that although the production team filmed him wishing Seyi Tinubu a happy birthday, they later omitted his part. He appealed for people to stop tagging Seyi over the matter, calling it “unbearable” and affirming that the president’s son shouldn’t be blamed.
Lege Miami said Seyi Tinubu's media team came to interview him for Seyi Tinubu's birthday well-wishing video, but his interview clip was cut from the video because he couldn't speak English fluently 😭 https://t.co/QffZQRKtTP pic.twitter.com/eikadKyK3Q
