“I Am Not His Wife” – Sophia Momodu Warns Fans to Move On

Sophia Momodu, the entrepreneur and first baby mama of music superstar Davido, has sent a stern message to fans to stop addressing her as the singer’s wife.

Setting the Record Straight

In a video broadcast, the mother of one addressed the recurring issue, noting that despite ending her relationship with Davido years ago and the fact that he is now married some fans continue to attach that title to her.

Respecting Boundaries

She expressed her discomfort with the label, emphasizing the need for the public to respect people’s personal decisions and current relationships. She urged fans to accept that she has moved on and to allow everyone to live their lives without clinging to the past.

She stated:

“I once met a content creator who, started hailing me as ‘mama Imade, OBO [Davido’s] wife’ upon seeing me. I was shocked because I am not his wife.

Stop referring to me as Davido’s wife. Let’s respect people’s marriages and rules. If people have moved on, allow them to move on in peace. Allow to move on in peace. Everyone is happy and doing what they are supposed to do,”
