Renowned Nollywood actor, Muyiwa Ademola, has reassured his concerned fans and colleagues about his well-being following the recent explosion in Ibadan, Oyo State. The incident, which occurred on Tuesday night, raised alarm among locals, and though the cause remains unknown, government officials have acknowledged the tragic event and initiated investigations.
Taking to his Instagram page, the Yoruba actor shared an update, confirming that he is safe and sound. Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support, Muyiwa acknowledged the concern of many people for his safety, prompting him to issue a statement. In his message, he acknowledged the somber atmosphere in Ibadan on that day, offering prayers for the souls of the deceased and the injured.
May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace and quick recovery to those who are injured. It is a sad day in Ibadan.”
Captioning his post, he wrote: “I am okay. Thank you all. I seriously have to do this as I can’t reach everyone trying to reach me. It is such a sad one!.”
