The President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Chief Ejezie Emeka Rollas, expressed his gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his assistance in Zack Orji’s health matters. According to Naijalog, Zack Orji recently went to the UK for a post-surgery assessment. Rollas also commended the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her compassionate nature towards the veteran actor. In addition, he acknowledged Seyi Tinubu, the President’s son, for providing invaluable support.
Rollas also thanked the Minister for Women Affairs, Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, for her relentless efforts in ensuring that Zack Orji quickly recovers. He also appreciated Orji’s long-time friend, Ahmed Bala, for standing by him throughout the entire period. “We have seen the unprecedented support given to the creative industry by President Tinubu, which clearly indicates his commitment to uplifting the sector and making it more beneficial to both practitioners and the national economy. Therefore, we find it necessary to show our appreciation,” he said.
Rollas had previously expressed his profound gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for appointing Ali Nuhu, a member of the AGN, as the Managing Director of Nigeria Film Corporation, as well as other key professionals such as Dr. Shaibu Husseini, Director-General of National Film and Video Censors Board, and Obi Osika, Director-General of Council for Arts and Culture.
It was recently rumored that Zack Orji had passed away, but AGN leadership later debunked the viral report.
