Every Nigerian movie lover knows how strong the friendship between star actress Mercy Johnson and her colleague Nuella Njubigbo used to be in 2014 to 2017, but the same can’t be said about both women now.
Their friendship used to be very strong to the extent that when Nuella walked down the aisle with her husband, Tchidi Chikere in a controversial wedding in 2015, Mercy Johnson was bashed for congratulating her.
“My bossman and madam didn’t tell me o.lolzzz congratulations dear ones and may God keep you.my love to my baby tess on her 1st birthday” Mercy Johnson wrote, congratulating her friend and husband.
Mercy got dragged by the neck for congratulating a “husband snatcher” as it wasn’t Tchidi’s first marriage.
In 2016, both actresses were spotted together at a wedding. They gave every other person a run for their money, as their ‘friendship goal’ was a top notch.
Before all these, heavily pregnant Nuella had in 2014 attended Mercy Johnson’s second baby shower in far away United States of America. (Friends can go that far you know).
However, reports have it that things have fallen apart for both actresses and the center can no longer hold. Naijalog can authoritatively tell you that both actresses who used to be best of pals can not stand each other again.
A further check on their social media handle as at time of writing this report shows that both actresses have un-followed (and probably blocked?) each other on Instagram.
