In an emotional interview with presenter Chude Jideonwo, billionaire businessman Obinna Iyiegbu, widely known as Obi Cubana, opened up about a painful experience where he was accused by some friends of using his ailing wife for money rituals.
Obi Cubana recounted the difficult time that began after the birth of his son when his wife, Ebele, suddenly fell gravely ill. The situation worsened when medical specialists in South Africa delivered a bleak diagnosis, warning that Ebele might never walk again or fully recover.
The businessman described how devastated he was after receiving the heartbreaking news from the doctors, admitting that he spent a night in tears, struggling to accept the reality of the situation.
Despite the dire prognosis, Obi Cubana shared that his wife remained resilient and optimistic, encouraging him to stay strong and not be swayed by the doctors’ reports.
However, amidst dealing with the emotional strain of his wife’s health, shocking rumors emerged among his circle. Obi Cubana revealed that some of his friends began spreading baseless accusations, claiming he was using his wife’s illness for a money ritual, a rumor that left him deeply hurt.
