Phyna, a reality TV star, has declared that she considers herself as someone who paved the way for Nigerian hype women regardless of whether she is acknowledged or not.
During a conversation with musician Minz on the Spill With Phyna podcast, the winner of Big Brother Naija discussed her role as a trailblazer for hype women.
Phyna claimed to be the only known female hype woman in Abuja before joining the popular reality show.
She acknowledged that a plethora of hype women in Nigeria became available as soon as she exited the show and therefore, she believes that she paved the way for them.
Phyna also disputed the claims made by artists who contend that no one paved the way for them.
