Reports reaching us indicate that a lawmaker in the Yobe State House of Assembly,Adamu Deguri, the representing Ningere Local Government Area in the Yobe State House of Assembly, has been assassinated by unknown gunmen.
The incident occurred at his residence in Unguwar Tandari, Potiskum, around 9am this morning.
