An Egyptian court on Saturday says former President Hosni Mubarak is not guilty of corruption and it also dismissed charges relating to the deaths of hundreds of protesters during the 2011 Egyptian revolution against him.
The Cairo court also acquitted Habib al-Adli, former Mubarak-era interior minister, and six senior security commanders of conspiracy to murder protesters
Mubarak and his sons Alaa and Gamal were also cleared by Chief Judge Mahmoud Kamel al-Rashidi of corruption charges related to exporting gas to Israel.
