Legendary Hollywood actor Gene Hackman, his wife Betsy Arakawa, and their dog were found dead in their New Mexico home on Wednesday afternoon, authorities have confirmed.
Denise Avila, Public Information Officer for the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office, stated that deputies conducted a welfare check after a concerned neighbor reported not seeing the couple for an extended period.
Officials noted that there were no immediate indications of foul play, but investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of death.
