Porto midfielder Danilo was bizarrely sent off in their match against Moreirense for being fouled by referee Luis Godinho.
In the footage, the referee was walking backwards, appeared to have no idea that he was backtracking into Danilo and he was shown a second yellow and sent off on the 79th minute of the game to the amazement of Porto players.
After the match, the defensive midfielder posted a video alongside a caption on his social media account: “I have seen and reviewed the footage more than a hundred times and honestly I can not understand the criterion of this gentleman to make such a decision. I’ve watched many episodes in football but this was undoubtedly the most shameful!”
