A high court in Ikeja, Lagos State, has ordered social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, to remove defamatory videos he posted about human rights lawyer Femi Falana, SAN. The court also instructed him to refrain from making further comments about the Falana family.
This decision follows Femi Falana’s statement that he is resisting the urge to pursue criminal charges against VeryDarkMan, who had accused him of allegedly helping to secure a pardon for cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.
On September 24, 2024, VeryDarkMan had leaked a voice recording of Bobrisky, in which the cross-dresser mentioned that singer Falz reached out to him during his six-month jail term. In response to these allegations, the Falana family sent a letter demanding that VeryDarkMan retract his statements and issue an apology within 24 hours.
