Versatile rapper, Folarin Falana, a.k.a Falz The Bahd Guy, and Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi have been unveiled as the hosts of the forthcoming Headies Awards.
Explaining the choice of hosts for this year, the organisers in a statement said, ‘The pair, chosen for their prowess and rare creativity, embody the theme of this year’s event ‘create, think, recreate.’
The choice of the two star performers as host keeps the tradition of the Headies in pairing top celebs with others that have hosted in the past including Basketmouth and Toke Makinwa in 2014, Tiwa Savage and Dr Sid in 2013, M.I Abaga and Omawumi in 2012, Rita Dominic and Eldee in 2011, Banky W and Kemi Adetiba in 2009, Basketmouth and Dakore Egbuson in 2008 and D’banj and Tana Adelana in 2007.
