For thirty days you our Muslim readers and indeed other faithfuls around the world observed one of the most compulsory pillars of Islam.
With a strong sense of devotion to God, you deprived yourselves of food and water; shielded yourselves from sinful acts; had a feel of what the needy feels and woke up at awkward hours to give supplications to God.
We pray that God accepts your prayers , forgive you of your sins, and make sure you enjoy and reap the dividends of fasting.
Finally as the Holy month of Ramadan comes to an end, we enjoin you to use lessons learnt from the month to rid our nation of all evil vices, cultivate the spirit of tolerance and most importantly contribute to making Nigeria great again.
