“HALF OF A YELLOW SUN” PREMIERES ON FRIDAY,APRIL 25TH IN ALL NIGERIA CINEMAS

The popular British Actor Chiwetel Ejiofor has arrived Nigeria ahead of the premiere of half of a Yellow Sun movie.

The anticipated film will be released in Nigerian cinemas on Friday, April 25, 2014. The public release will be preceded by the African premiere, to be held in Lagos prior to the release date.

The Oscar nominated actor and BAFTA winner, Ejiofor, arrived Nigeria around 6 a.m this morning, Friday, April 11, 2014. He has since been lodged at the Wheatbaker Hotel, Lagos. He is expected to grant interviews today and tomorrow, ahead of the premiere.

The Film is a beautifully crafted adaptation of the international bestselling novel by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and directed by the Nigerian playwright, Biyi Bandele.

The film stars the BAFTA Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated actor, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and BAFTA Award-winning actor Thandie Newton. Genevieve Nnaji, Onyeka Onwenu,O. C. Ukeje, Tina Mba, Zack Orji, Anika Noni Rose, Joseph Mawle and John Boyega led the supporting cast.
