Gunmen, on Thursday killed a man, his wife and a little girl said to be a relation in Kachin village, Kurra Falls in Barakin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
However, two of the gunmen were killed by security men who responded to a distress call from the village.
The latest attack came barely two days after a similar one on Chacha village in Jos South Local Government Area during which four members of a family were gunned down.
It was learnt that the gunmen stormed the house at about midnight on Wednesday, killing the village head, his wife and their young relation.
Anti riot policemen who responded to the distress call from the village were said to have caught up with the assailants, gunning down two of them in the process.
Police spokesman, Emmanuel Abuh, confirmed the incident and the killing of two of the attackers by “some gallant policemen”.
