In Kaduna State’s Mallagum-Kagoro Local Government Area, gunmen have once again invaded Kagoro.
A day after the mass burial of those who had been killed earlier, the southern Kaduna village was assaulted once more on Friday night.
The attack was carried out between the hours of 9pm to 10pm by the gunmen who started shooting sporadically.
A source, who spoke stated that the gunmen came in their large numbers, fully armed.
He added, “While the gunmen were shooting sporadically and the people were running for their safety, the timely intervention of the military saved the situation and no life was lost.”
The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Muhammed Jalige could not be reached for comment.
